Due to my own background in philology, Cultural History, and Literary Studies (cf. publications), I address my services particularly to humanities scholars wishing to have their research papers, publications, and lecture drafts translated from English into German (and vice versa). My service combines both proofreading and copy-editing. While proofreading eliminates language errors and errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, format, and style, copy-editing ensures accuracy in language, structure, and rhetoric expressions. As part of copy-editing, choice of words, style, sentence structure, contents structure, consistency, and terminology are checked in order to achieve maximum clarity and idiomaticity of expression.

Überprüft und optimiert werden Rechtschreibung, Zeichensetzung, Satzbau, Grammatik, Syntax und Zitationsformat, sowie - in Absprache mit den Autorinnen und Autoren - Semantik, Stilistik und Argumentationsstruktur.
